Charlie hits BBC airwaves

SINGER/SONGWRITER Charlie Fearon will be showing his professionalism as well as his talent when he hits the airwaves  performing his own music during a set for the BBC.

Year 12 Charlie was asked to perform two of his own acoustic songs during Dean Jackson’s Saturday night music show on BBC Radio Nottingham on 3rd December.

The slot, which will also feature on the Beatvisuals Youtube channel, comes after the 16-year-old was spotted by the local DJ at a concert last year and subsequently invited to play as support for an alternative music act at Rough Trade and then to record at the BBC’s Nottingham studios.

The talented teenager only started playing guitar about three years ago, writing his own material just a few weeks after that, but says that once he has finished his A levels he intends to pursue a career as a recording artist.
